I bought a Tom Ford Fu..ing Fabulous, 100ml, Eau de Parfum and paid for it more than 200 euros. Description: "100% unused, but with minor cosmetic imperfections such as wrinkled or damaged cardboard packaging, printing errors on the label or box, minor discrepancies in accessories, or minimal distortions or misprints on the bottle." Contents: "The contents—the perfume itself—are completely intact and untouched" Right of withdrawal: "By placing a bid, you waive your consumer right to return or exchange these lots" Based on that information i decided to buy the item. As I tried the perfume for the very first time i noticed that there is something wrong with it. It does NOT resemble, at all, with the original that i tried, in a shop, before placing the bid. I contacted the seller i was told that i could not return the item by the simple fact that i did not like the scent. From the description of the item, i accepted that it could have some packaging issues but not with the perfume itself, that should be ok, completely intact and untouched, as per the description. Trying to find an answer, since i paid more than 200 euros for it, i took the perfume to 3 different shops that sell the exact same perfume: Bijenkorf, Douglas and Ici Paris. Using their tester and their opinion, it is obvious that the perfume is either spoiled, fake or refilled / repacked to resemble an original item. There is zero chance that we are wrong on this. I contacted the seller again, and i was told that it is my problem, that they are registered company, that do not sell fake items, that process more than 2.000 items a week. There is a misconception here between quantity and quality. They can process a million items a week but regarding this item in particular, there is an issue, that they should try to address. But the truth is that since they stated that the buyer "waive your consumer right to return or exchange these lots", they have no responsibility. Again, i agreed with minor cosmetic defects, not with the perfume being completely wasted. According to the dutch law: "Agreements concluded during a public auction are also not covered by the right of withdrawal. A public auction is an auction where the consumer is present in person, or has the opportunity to do so. Auctions conducted exclusively via online platforms and available to consumers cannot be considered public auctions. Online auctions are therefore covered by the right of withdrawal" So, be careful when buying perfumes from this seller, you may be left with something that you can do nothing but throw it in the trash.

Ik ben uitermate tevreden over XL Auctions. Ik ben alleen niet niet te spreken over de leverancier van de eau de toilette Real Deal Auctions. Zij hebben mij een absoluut verkeerde geur gegeven en willen dit niet toegeven. Het is voor mij de eerste keer dat ik met dit bedrijf in zee ben gegaan maar gelijk de laatste keer.
